Professionals from BITA Pathways will be running a drop in advice and guidance session aiming to support people with mental health. They will be here at the Nechells POD on Monday 30th January from 1:00pm – 3:00pm.
This week our Sewing Class learned how to make aprons, they have all been enjoying the chance to come together and sew as a group. Thank you to Lynette for being such a supportive teacher while helping and encouraging the group.
Today our sewing class made some beautiful baby blankets. Each week our sewing class challenge themselves by being creative and crafting beautiful things like these baby blankets. If you would like to get involved contact the POD to be put on a waiting list for this class.
Over the weekend their were a number of Great Get Together events all around England which were celebrating Jo Cox’s belief that we all have many things in common and that ‘we have more in common than that which divides us’. We held our Great Get Together event on Saturday 17th June 2017, we had over 140 guests…
Today our new Sensory Play & Stay group started. Thank you to Bloomsbury Nursery and Children’s Centre for running this activity at the POD. All the children who attended loved playing and exploring new games at this weeks session. A reminder for everyone who has signed up for this group it is on every Tuesday…
Today POD staff went to Millennium Point for the launch of the Big Sleuth Project. It was a great event and we had the chance to see our little bear Rainbow Rory who looked stunning with all his other little bear friends.

Yesterday evening POD staff went to edgbaston cricket ground were we had the chance to preview some of the bears from The Big Sleuth trail. The bears will be out and about when the trail starts on the 10th July – 17th September. We hope to see everyone going out to find the very creative bears…
