Today we held an active listening training session for McDermotts and Nechells POD staff. The session taught participants how to enhance their listening skills,so that in the future we can set up a befriending group here at the POD. Today was the start of our three day Healthy Half Term Programme. The children enjoyed putting their imaginative skills to the test by creating and performing their own stories, as well as listening to stories told by the storytellers.
Today was the second day of our Healthy Half Term Programme. The children learned all about healthy eating(cooking) and really enjoyed taking part in wide range of fun games and fitness activities.Thanks to Birmingham Play Care Network who provided some fantastic activities.

On Thursday 16th March a group of Nechells residents joined a trip to Boundary mill followed by a meal at the Malt Shovel. Last Saturday families from across Nechells took part in a fantastic science event at Nechells POD. The British Science Association Birmingham Branch offered workshops and fun science activities to mark British Science Week. Everyone enjoyed the Dinosaur Walk workshop and were amazed by the Fizz Pop workshop. Thank you to everyone who this possible.
