Everyone at the Place of Welcome coffee morning played Jenga today, there were lots of squeals, gasps and laughter as the towers toppled down and were quickly rebuilt for another game. Come and join the group next week and find out what activities Shantel and Amy have planned to make everyone smile.
Everyone enjoyed the community lunch today, we were joined by the student social workers that have been on placement with the SEN Parent Partnership Team who are also based at the POD. The last session in the six week craft programme took place today we would like to thank Naz for running the sessions and we look forward to starting a new family learning topic after the Easter Holiday. Look out for the new posters advertising the next Family Learning Programme starting soon.
Mo from Animals in Hands visited the POD today to introduce a selection of animals to the parent and child language group. They met a toad, a rabbit, a tortoise and a snake! Animals in Hands will be back at the POD for the DREAMS Easter Programme on 22nd April 2014.
