Do it together Science Bus

Since Monday 24th July 2017 Do-it-together Science Bus have been running workshops right here at the POD. The workshops they delivered were making yoghurt in the morning and making sunscream in the afternoon. New Library Books

Here’s a small selection of the many new children books that have arrived at Bloomsbury library this week. If your child is not already a member of the library come along and join right here at the POD- it’s free! Adele our librarian is here every Tuesday and Wednesday 9am – 5pm.

IT Course

The Big Sleuth Project

Nechells POD is taking part in a community arts project which will have over 100 decorated bears sited across Birmingham over the summer. Tots Group

Today our Tots group enjoyed colouring in animals after story time.This session is on every Tuesday from 11am with the POD librarian Adele and is suitable for 0-4 year olds and their parents/carers.  

Healthy Half Term(update)

Our May 2017 Healthy Half Term Programme is now currently full, so there is no more spaces available. However if you are interested in family activities during the half term we will be holding community events on Thursday 1st June and Friday 2nd June. Keep checking our social medias for further details on these events.

World Culture Day

We had an amazing turn out at our World Culture Day celebration today. It was nice to see all the community come together to celebrate all the different cultures, while getting the chance to learn more about everyone’s ethnic background. The community all sat around and joined in with stories from all around the world…
