Since Monday 24th July 2017 Do-it-together Science Bus have been running workshops right here at the POD. The workshops they delivered were making yoghurt in the morning and making sunscream in the afternoon. Nechells POD is taking part in a community arts project which will have over 100 decorated bears sited across Birmingham over the summer. Today our Tots group enjoyed colouring in animals after story time.This session is on every Tuesday from 11am with the POD librarian Adele and is suitable for 0-4 year olds and their parents/carers.
Our May 2017 Healthy Half Term Programme is now currently full, so there is no more spaces available. However if you are interested in family activities during the half term we will be holding community events on Thursday 1st June and Friday 2nd June. We had an amazing turn out at our World Culture Day celebration today. It was nice to see all the community come together to celebrate all the different cultures, while getting the chance to learn more about everyone’s ethnic background.
