Our six week Beauty and Well Being course started today, the first session took off with a tranquil Aromatherapy lesson, delivered by Asma Juwle (AJ Beauty Training/Juwle’s Therapy). Today we held an active listening training session for McDermotts and Nechells POD staff. The session taught participants how to enhance their listening skills,so that in the future we can set up a befriending group here at the POD. Today was the start of our three day Healthy Half Term Programme. The children enjoyed putting their imaginative skills to the test by creating and performing their own stories, as well as listening to stories told by the storytellers.
Today was the second day of our Healthy Half Term Programme. The children learned all about healthy eating(cooking) and really enjoyed taking part in wide range of fun games and fitness activities.Thanks to Birmingham Play Care Network who provided some fantastic activities.
