We had our first visit from Sara and her proud Mum and Dad Sedigheh and Ismael today. Sara is seven weeks old now and was born on the 4th September 2012 at exactly the same time as little Varin.

We had the FiN Christmas trip today, the weather was sunny and bright and we all had a lovely day at Webbs Garden Centre. Following the forcast for heavy snow and freezing temperatures starting this weekend, we took steps to protect the newly sprouting broad beans and prevent snow damage. We had a Blue Peter moment and used Plastic cups secured by opened paperclips, it worked very well – perhaps we could patent the idea!
