We were delighted to welcome Birmingham’s Chief Executive Mark Rogers to the POD this morning. POD users came to our weekly Place of Welcome and monthly Parents Forum meeting for coffee, cake and a chat. Mark took time out of his busy schedule to talk to everyone and find out more about the activities that take place at the POD including our lottery funded living history project, keep fit, first aid, walking group, Tai Chi to name just a few. Mark commented that “It was lovely to visit such a welcoming place where everyone was so happy” In fact he enjoyed the visit so much he has promised to come and see us again!
