Year 4 pupils from St Clement’s, St Joseph’s and St Vincent’s all took part in the Mathematical Pirate Adventure Challenge at Aston University today. Students from Aston University have been working with year 4 pupils from each of the schools every week to develop their mathematical skills. The pupils enjoyed taking part in a series of numeracy challenges in order to complete the tasks on their pirate passports and the winning team were from St Clement’s C.E Primary school. We would like to thank all the pupils that took part in the programme and say a special thank you to all the students from Aston University who gave up their time to help develop the mathematical skills of the next generation!
