Year 7 students at Heartlands Academy took delivery of their brand new Bookshare Boxes today. Following the success of last years Bookshare Project with pupils in year 1 at our local Primary schools the SSK Foundation have not only agreed to run the year 1 Bookshare again this year but have also expanded the project to include books for students at Heartlands Academy. The books have been supplied by Peters Bookselling Services. The book boxes are based on different genres including poetry, short stories, history, graphic novels, travel and comedy. Each class will be able to enjoy a different genre each half term and there are also copies held in the school library so that the students can continue to enjoy the genre after the box has moved on.
