Today was a big day in our Proud Past, Bright Future project sponsored by Smurfit Kappa SSK. Last year some of our schools took delivery of 10 sapling trees from Forest Schools Birmingham CIC which were planted in their schools grounds. The trees have all been well looked after and cared for and have grown bigger and stronger over the last twelve months. The trees planted at Nechells Primary School, St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School and the POD where space was limited were dug up today and have been replanted in Bloomsbury Park where we hope that they will continue to thrive in their new environment and develop in to beautiful trees, that will enchance the park and provide shade as our children grow up in Nechells.
