The POD is now registered as a Place of Welcome, the first coffee morning was held today and 9 local residents came to have a chat, a nice cup of tea and a biscuit.
The Place of Welcome group will take place every friday from 9am – 11am term time only. The sessions are being led by Shantel out Admin Support and Amy who has attended lots of courses here and is now a volunteer at the POD. There was lots of excited discussion about what activites the group would like to try over the next few weeks so come a join the fun next week.
