Nechells POD Time to SHINE is a community project that has recently been funded for the next three years by the National Lottery Community Fund.
The Time to SHINE Project will prioritise the following outcomes:
- Outcome 1 – Newly arrived families and isolated older people will engage in positive activities that improve community cohesion and reduce social isolation
- Outcome 2 – Newly arrived adults will improve their communication skills and have access to training, volunteering and employment.
- Outcome 3 – The physical and mental well-being of newly arrived families and isolated older people will be improved
