Today’s trip to Bosworth Water Park went successfully with the weather staying fairly warm and dry. The children played outdoor games, splashed about in the man made lake, enjoyed the beach, were adventurous on the pirate ship and fed the ducks around the lake.
The Park even offered the opportunity for our elderly participants to explore nature around the water park, with them stopping for well earned hot drinks at the lovely cafe beside the lake.
This was a great intergenerational trip which allowed the children on our Happy, Healthy Holiday Scheme to enjoy a fun day out with all their family and POD friends.
Next week we will be going on another day trip to Stourport-on-Severn, let’s hope the sun continues to shine on us!
