Wyevale Garden Centre
Today POD staff and FiNs( Friends in Nechells) visited Wyevale Garden Centre they looked around the beautiful gardens and were also treated to a lovely Christmas meal. This was a great day trip and got all of our Friends in Nechells in the Christmas spirit. Festive Spirit at the POD
The POD is in full Festive spirit with our new Christmas tree and decorations lighting up our reception area. Thank you to Little Green Tree Company for handcrafting such a lovely stylish tree.

UCB Mini Makeovers
Today students from UCB(University College Birmingham) offered Mini Make over for the Nechells community, they had a range of Beauty treatments on offer such as Pedicures, facials and much more. We had a great turn out and we hope to see even more people next Friday when they here again from 9:00am – 12:00pm.
Library Visit
Today children from a local Nechells Primary School visited the POD to use the library. before their session with Adele the librarian, they performed a poem to POD staff the brilliant poem was ‘The Gruffalo’ themed.
Sheena’s Wedding Celebration
Today at lunch time POD staff went out to celebrate Sheena’s up and coming wedding. we had a great three course meal at College of Food, we all had beautiful food and the college offered an excellent service. We would like to say a huge congratulations to Sheena on her wedding.
Yoga Class
In today’s Yoga the class enjoyed relaxing with rhythmic breathing techniques and even had gentle Indian head and shoulder massages. We can not wait to see what they do in next week’s session.
