The Around the World Numeracy Project continued today with even more pupils enjoying this fun way to learn.
Comments from Teachers taking part included: Super event! The challenges were fantastic and worked to different strengths of the mixed ability children. Activities are fun, so the children were fully engaged. The activities were worded well and organised in order for the children to be able to access them easily. The helpers from Heartlands Academy were courteous and helpful with the children. Activities were differentiated so that all abilities could do well. All the children were engaged in activities and showed great enthusiasm for all the challenges.
Comments from the pupils included: All the activities have been fun, I can’t choose a favourite. We have enjoyed working together and the way other subjects are included, like geography. An unforgettable experience – in a good way! It’s so much fun. I thought today was mind-blowing. I’m doing maths like i’ve never done before – I loved it!
