The FiNs were invited to both the dress rehearsal and final production of the latest Heartlands musical and theatre production – look How Far We Have Come. The show involved both the music and drama departments and resulted in a spectacular evening of entertainment which formed part of the students GCSE examinations and was attended and marked by the Chief Examinations Officer for the exam board. The show was based on information collected by the students from the FiNs through the intergenerational project earlier this year and showed what life was like in Nechells in the 1960’s and 1970’s when the FiNs first moved into Nechells. The acting, singing and dancing was amazing well done year 11! Unfortunately due to illness not all of the FiNs were able to attend but the show was recorded and we hope to have a celebration viewing for all the FiNs after half term.
