Red Nose Celebrations at the POD
The Nechells community held a coffee and cake morning and raised a wonderful £116 for Comic Relief. We took part in the “How will Jessie grow her hair back” sweepstake, held a raffle and sold cakes. The winner was Red Pompadour which had been chosen by Bernadette.
We also invited Naz from Health Exchange to come and give details of the new Healthy Living Programme that will start here at the POD on Friday 26th April 2013. Everyone took the opportunity get our blood pressure checked and the brave had their BMI level measured, perhaps we shouldn’t have eaten so many cakes!
