Our Friends in Nechells (FiN) group were nominated for a community award and last night we were successful and have won £250 to support FiN activities.
POD staff accompanied a group of 15 Nechells residents to the Nechells Community First Awards and Planning Evening held at St Alban’s Academy in Highgate. The evening was a great success and a wonderful opportunity to meet other local groups and discuss prorities for the Nechells Ward. The award will help to support further activities for the FiN group and it was lovely to have some of our residents present to celebrate our success. We would like to say a big “Thank you” to Nechells Community First for their continued support for the POD.
