Simeon Bright from The Birmingham and Black Country Community Foundation visited the POD today to help staff at Nechells POD CIC to set up their own Localgiving web page link. The link will enable visitors to the Nechells POD web site to consider making a donation to support the CIC by a one off donation or even to consider making a regular donation to the POD by direct debit.
Local Giving have just released access to match funding which will enable donations of up to £10 per month to be doubled to £20 (or more with Gift Aid) if a direct debit is set up to support the POD on a monthly basis for twelve months. We hope that Local Giving donations will become a valuable source of income to the CIC and help the POD to provide more activities and support to our Nechells residents.
The POD would like to thank Simeon for all his help and support this afternoon and we will be crossing our fingers that our new venture will be a success.
