Today was a huge success! We’d like to thank everyone who took part and made it such a special day for us all. We had such good attendance throughout all of our sessions today from FiNs Fitness, to the Family sports with fantastic Dean from Active Parks, Animal in Hands and the Library ‘Mythical Creatures’ Craft session with Adele our wonderful Community Librarian.
Not only did we have a massive range of activities on but we had Brigid Jones, the deputy leader of Birmingham City Council, visit the POD to join in with our fabulous activities and meet the local residents. She was really impressed with everything she saw and even described the POD as “a magical place”!
We hope that Councillor Jones will support our move from a corridor library into an amazing new library facility for Nechells.
