On Tuesday 25th of August we went on an inter-generational trip to Weston Super Mare with 50 residents from the Nechells community. Even though the weather was not the best it was still a fairly warm day which allowed us to enjoy the great joys of the beach, sea and pier. After a full day of fun in Weston Super Mare our coach unfortunately broke down on the way back but everyone helped out and made sure that we all walked together until we got to a Morrison’s super market were we waited for another coach to collect us. Thanks to the staff in Morrisons for looking after us so well.
Overall it was a brilliant day and from the sounds of the good feedback it seems everyone else enjoyed the day too and the delay of the coach breaking down showed the true Nechells spirit as everyone worked together.
