Just before the summer holiday Danny nominated Zenia our EAZ/POD CIC office manager on behalf of the FiN group for a Chamberlain Award under the Local Hero category. The group said that ‘Zenia is like a fairy, granting all our wishes and sprinkling magic dust wherever she goes making us laugh and smile’
Out of lots of nominations five finalists have been chosen in this category including Zenia. There will be a big ceremony at the ICC on Friday 8th November when the winner will be announced – so fingers crossed for the POD.
The Chamberlain awards team have visited all the finalists to photograph and film everyone in their work place, the footage will be used to produce a short film and a programme of all the finalists in the numerous categories on the big night. Today the team visited the POD and the FiNs to take lots of photos and to film everyone taking a bow and striking a pose which will both appear on the video of all the finalists which will be shown on the night..
