The FiNs enjoyed a very special afternoon tea at Heartlands Academy this afternoon. The students had prepared a spectacular spread with delicate sandwiches, mini quiche and prawn pastries, followed by ice cream cup cakes, roulade with strawberry or lemon filling, freshly baked scones with delicious strawberry jam, clotted cream and fresh strawberries, there was also home made pink lemonade and tea and coffee served from beautiful china crockery.
The group had a wonderful afternoon chatting to the staff and students at the Academy and enjoying the delicious food and drink. Comments from the FiNs included “we were treated like royalty.’ The students are a credit to the school, they are all so polite, helpful and well mannered we have had a wonderful afternoon.”
Everyone enjoyed the tea so much they asked if they could come back for Christmas lunch!
The FiNs would like to thank the Principal Mrs Jones and the staff and students of Heartlands Academy for making the afternoon tea and their visit so special.
