Peggy and Winnie from the FiN group called into the POD this morning with some wonderful toys that have been donated by Peggy’s Grandson, who is a fire fighter based at Sheldon Fire Station. These wonderful clowns and the cuddly teddy must have taken hours of work to make as the detail on them is amazing, including a knitted banana and a string of sausages! They are really superb, we are going to set up a 200 grid for these wonderful toys and will have a first, second and third prize, the numbers will be drawn at the community lunch on Friday 19th July 2013, We will be selling the squares to all POD users and to our local schools to raise funds for the continuation of the POD CIC, so please pop into the POD and get your squares now!
