As part of Spring On Line week today the POD hosted computer taster sessions for beginners. The sessions were organised by Maggie and Emily from CSV, which is an organisation that works alongside people to transform lives. Specialist volunteers from Newman University and Richard from Community IT Services helped our residents learn new skills, hints and tips for using computers. These free friendly sessions were part of the Spring On Line campaign run by Digital Unite.
Everyone that attended the sessions said how brilliant they were and how much they had enjoyed learnting lots of new skills which ranged from getting started on computers to how to use the internet. A big “Thank You” to everyone who gave their time, skills and energy to help our community develop.
