Today thanks to an award from the Tesco Charity Trust our FiN (Friends in Nechells group) visited Chatsworth House and Gardens in Derbyshire, the sun shone and we all had a fantastic day.
Tesco Charity Trust’s generous donation of £1,000 has enabled the continuation of the Nechells Plus and Fit group which meet each Wednesday at the POD for a gentle exercise programme to continue until March 2013 and has also helped to fund our superb trip to Chatsworth House
We would like to thank Suzanne and Graham for donating their time to help make this trip such a great success, the FiN group have asked if they can visit the house again later in the year to see the house dressed for Christmas, which this year concentrates on pantomime themes for the decorations and staffing.
Our sincere thanks also go to the wonderful staff at Chatsworth especially our guide Danielle who made our day such a wonderful experience.
