Our Great Get Together Event was a huge success, despite the rainy weather we had 29 residents attend and as always the community spirits were great.
We all braved the rain and sat down under the cover of the trees and gazebos with refreshments and the community chatted away about all that we hold in common. #moreincommonThe children who attended were given blank flags and enjoyed drawing and colouring the flags of their countries. We will be displaying the range of flags in the POD to show the amazing demographics of the Nechells Community.
Thank you to all the POD volunteers who attended and did an excellent job helping with the running of the event, we couldn’t have done it without you all.Let’s hope for better weather for next year’s Great Get Together Event.
