Last week on Thursday 10th August, POD staff and POD users from the Nechells community went on a lovely day trip to Telford Town Park. We all had the chance to explore the great park and some of us even shopped around in the shopping centre which is located near the park. At lunchtime we set out picnic blankets in the park for everyone to sit on, so we could all eat lunch while enjoying the surroundings of the beautiful park and after lunch we played games such as catch, football and badminton. The feedback from the families on the trip was positive, making it a very successful day trip out. Some of the feedback we received was that the trip gave families bonding time while being out-doors and having fun in the sun.
We would like to say thank you to Attain who were the coach company that took us all to and from Telford Town Centre.
