Pupils in Year 4 at St Joseph’s enjoyed another of their sessions with student fromAston University on their Pirate Maths Programme, the student have been coming into school on a weekly basis to work through a maths programme with the year 4 pupils in preparation for the big Pirate Maths Day to be held at Aston University on Monday 7th April 2014. The Students from Aston University have all voluntered to spend time in our local schools as part of our focus on Numeracy for the Spring term. The student’s have also been working on the maths challenge with children from St Clement’s and St Vincent’s and all three schools will meet up for the Pirate Challenge Event next month.
