Year 10 Student’s from Heartlands Academy enjoyed the sunshine with pupils from St Joseph’s Catholic Primary at lunch time today. The students who are always wonderful ambasadors for their school spent the day facilitating the challenge stations at the Nechells Rain Forest Themed Maths Challenge organised by Ian and Barbara Teffer. The Students helped the pupils in Years 2 and 3 from St Joseph’s, St Clement’s and St Vincent’s to understand each of the challenges and then check that the challenge had been completed correctly and then issuing the stars for each of the pupils challenge passports. Thank you to all the Heartlands students – you have all worked really hard we could not run the challenge without you!
