Working together in Nechells

Building Bridges Project

During the Easter school holidays a number of familes came together at the POD and spent fou days creating a musical ensemble celebrating diversity within Birmingham.

The families wrote and performed a song which focused on life within Birmingham and encapsulated the vibrancy and heritage of Birmingham. The group also performed a dance which show cased different dances from around the world.

The project culminated in a final performance at the Nechells Community Centre, where members of the public where invited to see the performance. Thank you to all the families who took part and also to "Sound It Out" the project oranisers.
