CHICKS
CHICKS provides free respite breaks to disadvantaged children from across the UK, we have been working with them for three years and over sixty children have benefitted from this wonderful experience.
CHICKS recently interviewed Emily and her Mum Debbie for an article in their magazine about what the holiday had meant to them both and how it had transformed Emily's life.

CHICKS breaks run from March to December and for the first time this year CHICKS are running two Christmas camps. Twelve children from schools in Nechells will join the dedicated CHICKS staff for activities , traditional Christmas dinner, a visit from Father Christmas and lots of festive fun! Food Net Cook and Taste course finishes

The last Cook and Taste session took place today, the group made home made pizza and bread and butter pudding. Everyone has really enjoyed learning how to make heatlhy nutritious meals from scratch and the sampling the delicious food. We hope to runs another Food Net Course at the POD Starting in September 2013.
