Loud Mouth Helping Hands - Visits Nechells schools January 2010

As part of our anti bullying week the Loud Mouth Theatre Company performed a prouction of helping hands in all the Nechells schools. Parents and young people took part in an informative production that touched on issues of bullying, domestic violence and safe and healthy relationships.

Helping Hands is an educational program that helps young people aged 8-11 years old to learn about bullying and domestic abuse. The production is well researched and carefully structured to help develop children's understanding of bullying and control, before gentle introducing them to the concept of domestic abuse. The program supported young people and alows them to understand the importance of creating a caring, healthy, happy and safe relationship and formed part of their PSHE education.

The project was warmly received by all who took part and the positive feedback from parents. teachers and young people included:
